About This Program
Kaunai Ullangal in Chennai (www.kaunaiullangal.org) has undertaken the task of picking up destitutes found abandoned on the roads. Mostly elderly, the service includes getting those destitutes to an old age home where, after some initial first aid and getting the "care" necessary, they are made to feel "at home". SRT signed up an agreement to provide the funds to repair the ambulance and get those vehicles road ready.
