About This Program
Women empowerment programs to help physically challenged women earn their livelihood by setting up a small business of their choice. Initial funding, coaching/hand-holding to set up the business, and periodic tracking/monitoring are some key steps. They are able to break even on an initial investment of Rs 25,000, so the ROI is very high on these projects. Ten such women were identified in partnership with an NGO in Jaipur (www.pureindia.org) as part of an initial launch in Gurgaon, New Delhi.
